One Body, One Purpose
“So we, (being) many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another”(Romans 12:5) and as such are living parts. “Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.” (I Peter 2:5)
The Music Ministry
The vision for the music ministry at the Cathedral of His Glory is to help the congregation to have an encounter in God through a dynamic and energized experience in praise and worship. We are a diverse choir and band, from different nationalities and generations as well, and we thrive in exploring all different types of musical influences from gospel to rock and traditional hymns to cutting edge songs that will help our members to experience the message of the gospel with no boundaries of style or genre.
The Children’s Ministry
We believe that kids are very important in the plan that God has for this generation. Our children are born for such a time as this. We have to lead them to know their Heavenly Father in a real way and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Kids have to be able to deal with a secular, Godless culture trying to steal their souls. They can be in the world and still not have the world in them. They can enjoy the fun times of being a kid without having the things of this world owning them. We can equip them to walk in the spirit and be a force for the kingdom of God. They do not have to wait to be adults for the Holy Spirit to use them.
Parents have a duty commissioned by God to see their children grow in the love and knowledge of our God. We are here with a calling from God to support that duty. The Cathedral Children’s Ministry is a fun and safe place for children to grow in a relationship with The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We want His Plan, Purpose, & Presence.
The Cathedral of His Glory has a very unique Youth Ministry. The foundation is rooted in Christ Jesus and the Word of God. We love each other with the love of Jesus. We build upon this foundation through involvement with outreach in the community, fun-filled off campus activities, “Fall Retreats” in the mountains, “Summer Retreats” at the beach, Lock-Ins, and Youth Meetings at “The Lodge.”
