About
Pastor David A. Longobardo
For more than forty-five years, David A. Longobardo has been a respected pastor, Bible Institute Director, conference and television speaker. Beginning in 1974 he was mentored in pastoral ministry in Washington D. C. While serving in D.C. he became a Bible Institute Director and throughout the years he trained, mentored and equipped many spiritual leaders. He holds a degree from Biola University in La Mirada, California and an Honorary Doctorate from Logos Bible College.
International ministry has extended to over twenty-five countries and today he speaks extensively in leadership conferences, churches and television broadcasts. For more than forty years he has been involved as a programmer, network host and guest on radio and television. He has appeared on TBN, CBN, TCT, CTN and the Inspirational networks. Both in Washington D.C., Maryland and North Carolina he has led pastor’s fellowships and is regarded as a “bridge builder” between church movements and diverse cultures.
In 1979, he founded Christian Hope Center, now Hope Christian Church, in the Maryland suburbs. In 1991, he relocated to North Carolina where he was Senior Pastor of Christ Covenant Church for eighteen years and Pastor Emeritus of World Victory Christian Center for seven years in Greensboro, NC.
He provides spiritual covering for numerous influential leaders and is recognized as possessing the “spirit of a father”. He speaks with profound prophetic and practical insights to strengthen the church, extend the kingdom and see lives transformed by God’s grace. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Joan, for more than thirty years. They have made their home in Greensboro, North Carolina.
